How do you build an event?
- Start with your brand
- Know your audience personality
- Create a strategy
eventBuilders uses these three seemingly simple steps to build your perfect event. We are different from many event companies, because we take a sales and marketing approach to every event we do. After a detailed discovery meeting, a senior team member puts together a plan for client review and approval and moves on to successfully execute that plan...on time and on budget.

Start with your brand
< backWho are you as a company?
What do you want your event to convey about your organization?
Whether you are launching a new product, celebrating a company anniversary, creating a loyalty program, or any other myriad types of events, you want it to reflect and reinforce who you are as a company and what you do.
During the discovery process, we will ask you several questions about your current marketing objectives. We will look for ways we can tie those into the event objectives. With this information we will create an event brand that dovetails with your overall company branding, so that your event becomes a continuation of the rest of your marketing efforts.
Know your audience personality
< backAre you planning a sales meeting at a golf resort, but no one likes to golf?
Whether it is an internal or external company event, you need to know the personality of your audience. Ultimately it is the event attendee experience that will make your event successful.
eventBuilders will ask you questions about your target attendee, then depending on who that attendee is, even do sample surveys to insure that the event strategy we propose is one that will appeal to your target audience.
In every part of the event planning process, we think about the attendee experience, and how they will be affected from the moment they are first informed of the event to making sure they get safely home.
Create a strategy
< backUpon completing the discovery phase, eventBuilders will create an event strategy that includes the following:
- Defined event goals and target audience
- Event brand and creative
- Comprehensive budget
- Detailed timeline
Once the client has approved the plan and the budget, we execute the plan entirely. It is up to the client how involved they would like to be in the process, but we find most of our clients are relieved to find a company who can truly manage a project from start to finish.
Speaking of finish, the event isn't over when it is over. There are invoices to reconcile, event inventory to be stored or donated, rentals to return, follow-up communications with attendees and many other details that if not done correctly can sabotage a great event and your budget!
